A RECAP For those of you attending the reunion:
FRIDAY EVENING RECEPTION: The Reception starts at 6:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M. Please be sure to check in at our registration table for name tags and surprise. PLEASE BRING CASH FOR PURCHASE OF RAFFLE TICKETS FOR SOME GREAT ITEMS. For those staying at the hotel, happy hour is from 5:30 – 7:30 P.M. (BRING YOUR ROOM KEY) and for anyone else wanting a libation, the same bar will be a cash bar. We will have tea and water with the food.
If you need the hotel’s shuttle, be sure to contact them directly with your time of arrival, etc. in advance for instructions.
SATURDAY TOUR: Keep in mind that the tour of John I Leonard is 9:00 A.M. on Saturday morning, which means a departure time from the hotel by 8:15 AM. Remember that if you are staying at the hotel there is a free Prepare to Order breakfast so BE SURE TO GET YOUR BREAKFAST EARLY. The trip to the Casino and Lake Worth Beach is off the schedule due to Red Tide and the closure of the beaches.
SATURDAY EVENING’S festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. We will have a cash bar (CASH REQUIRED) in the Ballroom and those staying at the hotel should get your drinks at the Happy Hour on your way to the room. Again, Happy Hour is 5:30 – 7:30 or the cash bar will also be available. We will have an hour to mingle and visit, with dinner being served at 7:00 P.M. and music and dancing to follow.
PLEASE ALSO BRING CASH FOR THE RAFFLE. WE HAVE A VARIETY OF UNIQUE ITEMS.

SATURDAY: Time is 6-11 PM; DRESS is evening casual; sit down dinner with two options. Make your choices on the FORM, complete with all information and biography, and send to the address in the form. Cost is $70/person.

The date for the discounted hotel reservations has been extended to September 19th. This discount is $100 off the regular price.
We we are approaching crunch time to provide numbers to the hotel for the events. If you are staying additional days at the front or backend of the reunion, please contact me for the name and number to get the discount for those days as well.

Good news! We've finally locked down the dates and place of the reunion.
October 19, 20, 21- Embassy Suites Hotel, 1601 Belvedere Road-WPB (adjacent to the PBIA airport)
Reservation Info for the Hotel is as follows:
DEADLINE FOR THE SPECIAL RATE IS: August 21, 2018. The rate is $139++ but without the discount rate it is approximately $250++ per night (++=various taxes)

If you plan on staying more nights before or after the event, contact Event Manager Vilkings Jimenez to receive the event price for your extra nights.
If you fly into the airport for the weekend, the hotel has a shuttle, so you won't need a car, unless you want one.
We've arranged a great weekend for you. Friday night social for class of 1968. A chance to chit-chat and try to recognize each other.
Saturday activities for all classes, include a tour of John I Leonard, to check it out. There is very little of the original school building left.
Afterwards a trip over to Lake Worth Beach to see the updated Casino and grab a bite to eat.
Back to the hotel in time for dinner and dancing!

PLEASE send a note to the above address to advise what events you are attending (Friday night is for the class of 1968 only) and how many of you (1 or 2). We need these numbers ASAP so we can provide you with a cost.
We are ESTIMATING Saturday to be $80/person. This is a rough estimate to give you an idea. We are trying to do "light hors d oeuvres" Friday night for approximately $20 per person and those staying at the hotel will receive happy hour drinks. Costs depend on the number of people, so please respond ASAP.

We've come a long way since 1968- Our faces, figures, addresses and families may have changed in the last 50 years, but we'll always remember the great times we had at Leonard.
Its time to share old stories and make new memories at our 50th class reunion.
Details are in the works but not finalized yet. Tentatively looking at October 19th & 20th.

We also would like to extend an invitation to our underclass men for the Saturday dinner-dance. We all shared the excitement and fun of establishing traditions of a new school. It would be enjoyable to share the fun of a reunion.
